Once again the Palos Verdes Art Center is offering its Dream House Raffle (this year it’s $1,000,000 cash award).  For the past nine years, the Palos Verdes Art Center has given away over $11,000,000 in cash and prizes and two homes.  The money is being raised to fund the development of a new PVAC to support its growing needs.  The Art Center is available for local Palos Verdes homes owners to take classes, purchase hand crafted items and visit local artists showings in the galleries.  It also  hosts the Art At Your Fingertips training center which provides the Palos Verdes Peninsula School District with their art programs.  Art Center has also been used to teach at-risk youth and foster children art projects.

The donation for a raffle ticket is $150 and if you have the lucky winning ticket, you win $1,000,000.  There is a special drawings for buyers of 2 or more tickets who purchase before April 6th.  There are many early giveaways so its best to purchases tickets early and take advantage of the additional drawings.  There are only 20,000 tickets for sale and in the past, they have sold out.  The actual grand prize drawing will be held on May 16, 2012.   What would you do with $1,000,000?

Crestridge Road, Rancho Palos Verdes, 90275 and the office is open during construction for ticket sales, or you can go to the Promenade on the Peninsula, 550 Deep Valley Drive, Suite 261, Rolling Hills Estates, and purchase at that location.  The Art Center office hours are:  Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
