Palos Verdes homes owners are looking forward to the new 2015-2016 season of the Palos Verdes Performing Arts series.  This is the 33rd year that the Palos Verdes Performing Arts Conservatory (formerly Norris Theatre, Harylne J. Norris Pavillion, Norris Education Department)  is presenting their season of mixed performances for all to enjoy. They will be featuring top name entertainment with musicians, theater entertainers and our own local talent.  Below are just a few of the special performances in the 2015-2016 series:

The 3 Play Series will include Mary Poppins which is performing now until October 4, 2015, Larry Shue’s The Nerd which will be performed from January 22 – 31, 2016, and Fiddler on the Roof which will run from April 22 – May 8, 2015.

The Presents Series includes Late Night Catechism 3 “Till Death Do Us Part” on October 27, 2015 at 8:00 p.m., Oh What A Night: A Tribute to Frankie Valli on January 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m., The Official Blues Brothers Revue on March 11 & 12, 2016 at 8:00 p.m., ABBA-Fab: A Tribute to ABBA will be on April 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m., and The Stranger: A Billy Joel Tribute will be on May 28, 2016, at 8:00 p.m.

Special Events this year will include Musical Magical Christmas Spectaculars – Christmas with Doo Wop Stars on December 11, 2016 at 8:00 p.m., It’s Magical Holiday Edition on December 12, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., and Tribute to Glen Miller at Christmas on December 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Of Mice and Men will be showing from March 3 – 6, 2016, and Dr. Seuss’s The Cat In the Hat will be showing on June 25 – 26, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.

Cabaret Jazz can be enjoyed on November 8, 2015 with Tom Rigney & Glambeau, on January 17, 2016 with Sue Palmer and the Motel Swing Orchestra, on March 13, 2016 with The Golden Gate Rhythm Machine and May 15, 2016 with Cornet Chop Suey.

Chamber Orchestra performances can be enjoyed on January 10, 2015 with Glenn Dicterow, on March 13, 2016 with Anna Polonsky and on April 9, 2016, with Narek Hakhnazaryan.
