Enjoy Local Area Holiday Fun This Weekend!

During this holiday season, there are many fun activities to be enjoyed by Palos Verdes homes owners.  On Saturday, December 12, 2015, the local 24th annual Holiday Boat Parade will take place in Redondo Beach at King Harbor.  Paddle craft boaters will be kicking off the parade at 5:00 p.m. with their decorated and lighted boards/costumes and they will be followed by power and sail boats which will be all decked out.  Each year there is a theme for the parade, and this year’s theme is “A Storybook Christmas” with Grand Marshalls Ines & Hal Davidson.  For more information on the parade call (310) 376-2459 for information and best viewing locations.

Another great family activity for the season is viewing the lights in Sleepy Hollow (a.k.a. Candy Cane Lane).  Tucked away in a South Torrance neighborhood is one of the most spectacular display of Christmas lights in the South Bay and possibly in the country which can be viewed beginning December 1, 2015, through January 1, 2016.  You can walk or drive through Candy Cane Lane and get in the holiday spirit.  Sleepy Hollow Christmas Lights can be accessed at Roberts Road off Pacific Coast Highway, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. every night until New Year’s Eve.  Walking through the area is a much more relaxed, up-close view of all the displays, without worrying about all the cars behind you.
