Palos Verdes South Coast Botanic Garden Summer Tai Chi & Yoga

Palos Verdes homes owners have a wonderful opportunity to get their body balanced this summer with South Coast Botanic Garden’s summer sessions of Tai Chi and Yoga classes on Saturday mornings from June to August 2016.  Classes will be held at the Koi Pond Patio, giving you an opportunity to exercise in a natural setting instead of a studio environment.  You will feel the peace and energy of the Gardens around you.  The pace of the classes are appropriate for most individuals.

Tai Chi In The Garden will be taught Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on June 11, 18, 25, July 2, 16, 30, August 13, 20 & 27, 2016.   The cost of each class is $10/members and $12/non-members and drop-ins are allowed.  Tai Chi consists of graceful Chinese meditative movements that help to maintain physical health, well being, and spiritual essence.  This ancient Chinese technique emphasizes relaxation, balance coordination, and agility as well as flexibility and mental discipline.
