Palos Verdes Enjoys 2017 Mother’s Day Concert
Palos Verdes homes owners have a wonderful opportunity to hear the 60-person Palos Verdes Symphonic Band, under the direction of Christine Hayes, perform a special Mother’s Day concert entitled “Take Mom to the Movies,” along with featured guest Rena Urso-Trapani on flute. This special concert will take place at the South Coast Botanic Garden on Sunday, May 14, 2017, and is a great way to treat mom to a special outing and also enjoy these beautiful grounds. (Touring the Garden is not included in the concert admission). The Garden is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Garden admission ticket prices are $9 adults/$6 seniors/$6 students/$4 children 5-12, and under 4 are free.
The concert will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Frances Young Hall and tickets are $10, and children 12 and under are free.
Proceeds from ticket sales support the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band and South Coast Botanic Garden Foundation.
