Palos Verdes Art Center Presents Arts On The Hill!

The Palos Verdes Art Center is adding a free special arts project for local residents to enjoy.  On Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the faculty of The Studio School, members of Palos Verdes Art Center Artists (PVACA), and friends at Palos Verdes Performing Arts, Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy, Palos Verdes Library District, Palos Verdes School Gardens, Grand Vision Foundation, Los Serenos de Point Vincent, Art At Your Fingertips and Community Art Machine, will be joining forces for ARTS ON THE HILL @PVAC, a family celebration of the arts at the Palos Verdes Art Center.  Bring the family and enjoy the free art activities for kids such as printmaking, painting & sculpture quick take home projects, local artist demos including portrait & landscape painting, jewelry, mixed media & pottery, plus arts & crafts, magic exhibit, great live music, food trucks (Matteo’s Pizza, Blast Ice Cream & ShadyGrove@Stripe Cafe) and much more.

There are three other exhibitions at PVAC which are being shown during this event.  They are: The Summer Show, Joshua Ross: New Works, 2018 Alpay Scholarship Award Exhibition, and INHABIT: The Olmstead Brothers at Palos Verdes Peninsula.

The Palos Verdes Art Center is located at 5504 W. Crestridge Road, Rancho Palos Verdes.
