Halloween is just around the corner and many Palos Verdes homes owners are looking for a fun activities for families to participate in.  Here are a couple of great events for families to enjoy:

This Sunday, October 13, 2019, Green Hills Memorial will be having their 7th Annual Harvest Festival from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.  This free event will have a pumpkin patch, fun maze, arts & crafts, hay rides, live music, and food trucks (for purchases).  This is a wonderful opportunity to sample some of the fun Halloween related activities.  Green Hills Memorial Park is located at 27501 S. Halloween Spooktacular at the Promenade on the Peninsula will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Ice Chalet.  This is an all new nighttime, dress to impress event this year. nThe Ice Chalet will transform itself into Spooktacular Hall filled with game activities, vendors, treats, and more.  They will be having a costume contest for a chance to win prizes.  The game hall admission is $5 and the inclusive skate admission of $10 includes skate rental and game hall.  The Ice Chalet is located in the Promenade on the Peninsula at 550 Deep Valley Drive #107, Rolling Hills Estates.

At the Peninsula Shopping Center on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., Halloween Spooktacular will offer Halloween themed activities, DJ dance activities, entertainment, kids crafts, storytelling, balloon art, and more.  All families are invited and encouraged to wear their spookiest costume.  This event is free and open to the public.  Some of the stores located in the shopping center will participate in “trick or treating” during these hours; so look for participating retailer signs on the storefronts.  The Peninsula Center is located at 67 Peninsula Center, Rolling Hills Estates (corner of Hawthorne Blvd & Silver Spur).
