Sales for Palos Verdes real estate single family homes in the first 17 days of February have increased compared to sales to date for this time last month (12). 21 Palos Verdes houses have been reported as sold to date since February 1, 2012. (It may take an additional week for some sales to post after the actual close of escrow). The average sales price for single family Palos Verdes homes for February to date is $1,149,174 which is down from last month’s average of $1,596,809.
In February 2012 to date, the highest priced Palos Verdes home sold for $3,100,000 in the Malaga Cove neighborhood of Palos Verdes Estates; it was a beautiful 4,087 square foot home built in 2005 with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths with spectacular Ocean, Coastline and White Water views, a gourmet kitchen, elevator, sumptuous master suite, pool/spa, 810 square foot bonus space not included in square footage and a 10,450 square foot lot. The lowest priced Palos Verdes home sold to date in February for $670,000 and is located in the Silver Spur area of Rancho Palos Verdes; this home has 1,358 square feet, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on a 12,090 square foot lot and was a short sale.
