365 Things To Do In Palos Verdes – Peninsula Seniors Lecture Series

The Peninsula Seniors Lecture Series is presented on Wednesdays at Hesse Park (29301 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes 90275) from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.  These lectures are sponsored by the Peninsula Seniors, a non profit group incorporated in 1982.  During the month of January, they have had a variety of different speakers and on January 19th, the speaker will be David Hoffman, MD, of the Tower Hematology Oncology Medical Group of Beverly Hills, to discuss the latest trends in breast cancer screening, detection and treatment for seniors.  Because a patients family and friends are also affected, this presentation is of equal interest to men in the community.

On January 26th, Dr. Sepi Lackpour, Ph.D., L.Ac , acupuncture and herbal holistic care specialist will be lecturing on treatments using acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medications and Nutritional Counseling.  Acupunture is a three thousand year old technique which was developed in ancient China and has gained wide acceptance and popularity.
