Forbes recently posted its annual list of 100 America’s Most Expensive Zip Codes and Palos Verde homes owners will be excited to know that the Peninsula is home to two of them.
The City of Rolling Hills 90274 was #9 on the list showing a median price of $3,972,500, a 76.6% median price increase, average days on market was 124 and current active inventory is 61. Palos Verdes Estates 90274 was #74 on the list showing a median price of $1,849,955, a 22.3% median price increase, average days on market was 143 and current active inventory is 171.
Rolling Hills Estates 90274 was #183 on the list with a median price of $1,196,049, 28.9 median price increase, average days on market was 79 and current active inventory is 109. Rancho Palos Verdes 90275 was #250 on the list with a median price of $979,751, 2.6 median price decrease, average days on market was 147 and current active inventory is 171.
According to the Forbes article, information was compiled for this “list with the help of Altos Research, a Mountain View, Calif.-based company that tracks housing data. It pulled pricing information for more than 22,000 ZIP codes across the U.S. for June 28 to Sept. 28, drilling down to the 500 most expensive. Altos calculated the median asking price for single-family homes and condominiums, weighting the price based on the mix of local property types.”
