Sales for Palos Verdes real estate single family homes in the first 23 days of July have decreased compared to sales for the first 23 days of last month (50). 24 Palos Verdes houses have been reported as sold to date since July 1, 2012. Sales were very quiet the July 4th holiday week and may account for fewer sales to date in July. (It may take an additional week for some sales to post after the actual close of escrow). The average sales price for single family Palos Verdes homes from July 1st to date is $1,398,879 which is down from last month’s average of $1,405,259.
In July 2012 to date, the highest priced Palos Verdes home sold for $3,850,000 in the City of Rolling Hills; this fabulous 5,648 square foot, 5 bedroom, 6 bath equestrian estate has unobstructed panoramic views from Full Queen’s necklace to Long Beach Harbor and features a new spacious designer kitchen, an office, a barn, a huge motor court and a new salt water pool on a 5.7 acre lot. The lowest priced Palos Verdes home sold to date in July for $770,000 and is located in the Los Verdes neighborhood of Rancho Palos Verdes; this home has 1,672 square feet, 4 bedrooms and 2 baths on a 6,904 square foot lot.
