La Venta Inn is a historical landmark that was built in 1923 for $17,000 and was actually the first structure on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. It was used as the sales office/clubhouse for prospective purchasers of land in the Palos Verdes Project. In the 1930s, La Venta Inn became a black-tie restaurant and weekend retreat for many Hollywood stars. In the 1940s, the tower was used as a lookout point for the U.S. Coastguard. Since the 1950s, La Venta has been used as a venue for weddings and other special events.
La Venta Inn enjoys the perfect location with Queen’s Necklace views of the coastline from Bluff Cove all the way around the bay to Malibu.
