Bluff Cove Trail in Palos Verdes Estates runs along the coastline of the beautiful coast of Palos Verdes. It is across from million dollar homes and is open to the sea and coastline views. You can walk along the long clifftop trail, or follow the trail down to the rocky coves at the beach. This path will lead you to several different trails where you can stop and marvel at the coastline, or just relax and watch the surfers dodge the rocks in the waters below. When its low tide you can explore some of the best tide pools on the Peninsula. Also exploring the rocks at the north end of the cove can prove interesting with the different rock variations which were caused by the blasting powder that was used in 1923 to create a new road around the Peninsula.
Bluff Cove Trail can be accessed by parking on Paseo del Mar (Malaga Cove) just about halfway between Via Almar and Via Horcada.
