Malaga Cove has a new little restaurant tucked away in the corner of its historic center. The Yellow Vase Restaurant in Palos Verdes Estates just opened this week to a rainy start. Customers trickled in happy to have a new restuarant in Malaga Cove.
The Yellow Vase invites you with its colored umbrellas, and abundant yellow flowers. When entering the restaurant you walk into cozy little brightly painted rooms, with gift items for sale in all of its corners. As you mill about you will find flower arrangements and loose flowers that are available for purchase. One of the special treats is the open fireplace that welcomes you when you arrive.
The menu has a European flair, with quite an array of pastries (which are made in their own bakeries) plus a full menu of omelettes, breakfast favorites, salads, soups, sandwiches, and their specials. They also have a catering menu which is available upon request. The Yellow Vase is open seven days a week from 7.a.m.- 7p.m. They are located at 51 Malaga Cove Plaza, Palos Verdes Estates (310) 378-0013.
