There is a beautiful public golf course on the Palos Verdes Peninsula; the Los Verdes Golf Course is located at 7000 West Los Verdes Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. The Los Verdes Golf Course was designed by William F. Bell and offers some of the best view in Southern California. This 18 hole facility features 6,617 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 71.7 and has a slope rating of 121 on Kikuyu grass. The course opened in 1964 and is managed by the American Golf Corporation.
Because this is a public course, you cannot beat the price. However, it also attracts a large number of golfers. Los Verdes Golf Course has a reputation of taking between 5 to 6 hours to complete; make sure you come with both stamina and patience. In addition to the course, there is a 45 tee driving range and a clubhouse (which is available for weddings, meetings and special events).
