The Norris Pavilion will be presenting their Cabaret Jazz Series this weekend on Sunday, January 9th, with the St. Louis Stompers performing their hits. This group does shows all over the United States, and will be sharing their talents with us this weekend. The St. Louis Stompers began in 1981, and have been playing their mixture of Chicago and New Orleans style traditional jazz and Dixieland, reminiscent of Bix, Jelly Roll and King Oliver. The group consists of Pat Arana-trombone, Jack Tartar-drums and ukulele, Dave Majchrzak-piano, Steve Lilley-cornet, Mike Lilley- clarinet, Dave Zink – sousaphone. With all this great talent it should be a fun event. For more information on St. Louis Stompers www.st.louisstompers.com.
