As I did last year, I thought it would be fun to go through 2010’s Top Tuesday Tour Tips for Palos Verdes real estate and pick my favorites, tell you why and give you an update on those Palos Verdes Homes.
My favorite listing is Joellen Alflen (Keller Williams P.V. Realty) and Raju Chhabria’s (Shorewood Realtors) 53 Marguerite Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes 90275 (above left) which is a 7 bedroom, 9 bath, 8,055 square foot home for listed for $11,900,000. This gated Mediteranean Ocean Bluff Villa in Lunada Pointe is located on the bluff with dramatic ocean/Catalina/coastline views and features a library, a wine cellar,Gourmet kitchen, pool, separate guest house – all on a 1.3 acre lot. This listing was cancelled in September. Jane Sager’s (Shorewood Realtors) 2920 Paseo del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates 90274 (above right) is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath, 4,129 square foot home listed for $3,799,999 and sold in December (closed in January) for $3,350,000. This lower Lunada Bay one-of-a-kind custom home home is one of my favorites because it is across from the Bluffs with spectacular ocean views and features an incredible master bathroom with soaking tub and shower room with a 500 lb. boulder (for a unique seat) and a separate upstairs guest suite.
Mardi Tobias and Steven Watts ” (Remax Palos Verdes Realty) 2104 Via Acalones, Palos Verdes Estates 90274 (above left) is a 5 bedroom, 5 bath, 5,002 square foot home originally listed for $3,250,000, that went into escrow and is now back on the market at $2,850,000. This spectacular Monte Malaga Mid-Century Modern estate features dramatic glass walls, slate floors breathtaking entertaining areas, a 600 square foot wrap-around balcony deck, ocean-city views, a pool, 5-hole putting green – all located on 3/4 acre lot. Dana Graham’s (Prudential Realty) 2815 Via La Selva, Palos Verdes Estates 90274 (above right) is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath, 2,773 square foot home for $1,795,000 that was withdrawn from the market just before Christmas. This breathtaking Valmonte home was remodeled with incredible taste and features crown molding, 3 fireplaces (one is outside), a fabulous master suite and an enchanting garden.
