It’s so great being able to enjoy these summer days and all the fun activities they bring. Palos Verdes homes owners are lucky to have the Las Amigas De Las Lomas Horseshow, right here in their own backyard. Las Amigas De Las Lomas (“Friends of the Hill”) is a charitable organization formed in 1958 to help support the Orthopaedic Hospital in Los Angeles. Each year this fundraising event is a USEF rated horse show held at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates.
This is the place to go for a fun-filled family weekend, starting on Friday, July 15, 2011, through Sunday, July 17th. This benefit will include not only pony rides on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3:00 p.m., but different kiddie corral fun and games. This show has something for everyone. There will be a Grand Prix on Sunday, and also a silent auction for those “got to have” items. There will be a livery offering Equestrian and one-a- kind goods. Admission and parking is free.
