Are you looking for something creative for your children to enjoy this summer? Palos Verdes residents are lucky to have the South Coast Botanic Garden right in their own back yard, which is offering a series of Children’s Art Workshops for children ages 3 to 7 years to enjoy. The workshops will be held in the Children’s Garden on Fridays, July 22, August 5 & August 26. These workshops are back due to popular demand and once again will be limited to class size of 20.
The kids will learn about art and nature; and will be able to bring home a keepsake project. Jennifer MacKenzie, the new instructor at the South Coast Botanic Garden, was an art marjor and is currently a local art teacher who loves to teach children about the beauty of art in their surroundings.
