The Palos Verdes Library District is presenting to Palos Verdes homes owners a great opportunity for teens and their families to learn about an interesting career choice. How many times have you taken your family out for dinner and come home wishing you could cook like that? This is is a great opportunity to speak with experienced entrepreneurs who will help you look into the field of food and it’s different business aspects.
On Tuesday, October 11, 2011, beginning at 7:30 p.m., at our local Peninsula Center Library, you will have an opportunity to learn about many of the careers available in the food industry. The Food Career Speaker Panel for Teens will not only talk about the cooking and servicing of foods, but also the importance of food services in the film industry and related businesses.
This panel of representatives who have success in these fields will talk about their careers and the education and experience it took to get there. They will also discuss what they wish they had known before starting out. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get answers from experts. Plan to attend with your questions and be a part of the discussion.
