Many Palos Verdes homes owners are happy to see that, once again, we have a neighborhood market in Lunada Bay. After 28 years of enjoying the Lunada Bay Market, its recent closure left this area without a grocery store. And now, fresh & easy has made this their new location.
The market opened to smiling faces last Wednesday, June 13th, at 2201 Palos Verdes Drive West, Palos Verdes Estates. It is one of the chain’s new Express Mini Stores (which are about 3,000 square feet). The company’s traditional stores occupy 10,000 square feet. The Lunada Bay fresh & easy will be carrying about half of the products that the traditional stores carry, but they will focus on the store’s trademark grab-and-go products like prepared meals. They will still carry a full selection of spices, meats and produce.
The store will have about 20 employees which is always great for the local economy. When you are in the area, stop by and see the new boutique market that is here to make living on the Peninsula a little easier. The store is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
