As a Palos Verdes homes owner, you have probably visited our local South Coast Botanic Garden on more than one occasion. Their many different events and blossom “timings” have made many of us regular visitors to these beautiful, well maintained gardens.
Now the gardens are looking for a few good men and women to help them keep their gardens in the excellent condition that we all enjoy. On Tuesday, July 17th, from 3:00-4:00 p.m., in Classroom B, Carol Howden will be going over the process of becoming a volunteer at South Coast Botanic Garden. You can come alone, or bring a friend, to this short information session to find out what it’s all about. Some of my friends have volunteered at the garden and loved being with all those fabulous plants and trees and learning about horticulture.
