Again this year, Palos Verdes homes owners have an opportunity to attend college classes. Marymount College has offered the membership of Peninsula Seniors the opportunity to attend a college class tuition free for the Fall semester 2012, which starts on August 27th.
This is the second time that such a great opportunity has been offered to Palos Verdes residents. Up to 99 Peninsula Senior members will have the ability to audit courses at Marymount College’s two campuses in Rancho Palos Verdes and San Pedro. Some of the classes being offered are “Western Civilization Art To the Renaissance” to “Digital Publication Design.” Since recently gaining the status of a four year college, Marymount wants to share with local residents the opportunity to return to college and enrich their knowledge.
The Marymount College course information and registration is available at the Peninsula Seniors administration office now. The office is located at 30928 Hawthorne Blvd, in Rancho Palos Verdes, and is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday.
