Summertime brings many opportunities to relax and enjoy outdoor entertainment on our beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula.  This year Palos Verdes homes owners are able to enjoy two presentations of Shakespeare by the Sea – “King John” and “All’s Well That Ends Well.”  After 15 years of performing Shakespeare’s best known and loved plays, the staff and directors are now trying new two plays that they have not yet presented.  The current cast of 18 actors have been rehearsing five days a week to prepare for their rolls and some of them will be performing in both productions.

On July 11, 2013, the company will be performing “King John” at Terranea Resort.  The admission is free, but there is a parking charge of $5.00.  The performance starts at 7:00 p.m. and no outside food is permitted at this venue.  Food and beverage will be available for purchase.  Terranea Resort is located at 100 Terranea Way, Rancho Palos Verdes.

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be presenting “All’s Well That Ends Well” on August 4, 2013, at Hesse Park Upper Field.  The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free.  Remember to come early and enjoy your picnic dinner outside while enjoying the view.  You are encouraged to bring blankets or low slung beach chairs.  Hesse Park is located at 29301 Hawthorne Boulevard, Rancho Palos Verdes.  There is plenty of free parking available at this site.
