The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and the City of LA Department of Recreation and Parks invite teens to explore the California ecosystem. Teen Club City of LA Rangers includes hikes, scavenger hunts, crafts, and other fun activities and helps children learn more about the surrounding nature.
Palos Verdes homes owners can send their teens on July 19, or August 2, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., to the White Point Nature Preserve which will be allowing up to 30 teenagers per session to learn more about this preserve and what it takes to maintain it. In addition to all of the fun activities, they will be able to enjoy their lunches with their group alongside the ocean. The event is free of charge, and you must RSVP in advance. Remember to bring your own lunch, sunscreen, drinking water and wear comfortable shoes.
