Palos Verdes Jr. Hero Run
South Coast Botanic Garden will be presenting Jr. Hero Run on August 13, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the upper meadow and garden grounds. This fun live action adventure will be filled with super heroes and villains of all kinds. Children are encouraged to dress in their favorite costume and join in the activities. At the Garden entry, you will grab a cape and water gun to take to the garden area to help keep invading villains away and save the world. When you finish the course and recover a stolen coin from the villain fortress, you will be awarded a medal when you cross the finish line.
This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while cooling off at same time. Some of the proceeds for the run will be given to Make-A-Wish Greater LA foundation. To learn more about this fun adventure, and to find out about a $5 discount go to http://southcoastbotanicgarden.org.
The cost to anticipate in this fun run is $20 pre-registration, $30 the day of the event, $10 spectator, children 2 and under are free.
