Palos Verdes homes owners can enjoy taking their fur babies along with them for a walk at the South Coast Botanic Garden on Sunday, May 26, 2024. This event is popular and tickets are limited. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All dogs must be kept on leashes while on Garden property including the parking lot. They will not be allowed in the Rose Garden or the Koi Pond areas. This is a transaction-less entry because advanced tickets are required to reserve your specific time slot. There will be water stations for both visitors and “fur babies.” The price for admission for the dog walk special event is $15/adult, $11/senior, $5/child, and all dogs $5 each. Members are free. For more information or to purchase admission tickets, click here.
Currently showing at the Garden is SOAR the Butterfly Experience. This popular exhibit features hundreds of tropical butterflies that you wouldn’t normally see in Southern California. Your journey begins as you step into the Host and Nectar Garden and wander through beautiful plant species that are part of a butterfly’s habitat. Remember that on the third Tuesday of each month, you can enjoy the Garden for free.
The South Coast Botanic Garden is located at 26300 Crenshaw Boulevard, Palos Verdes Peninsula. If you have any questions, please call (310) 544-1948.
