Dog Walking at the South Coast Botanic Garden on April 30, 2023

Dog Walking At South Coast Botanic Garden July 28, 2024!

Palos Verdes homes owners have a another opportunity to enjoy the beautiful South Coast Botanic Garden with their fur babies. Back by popular demand, the Garden has special dog walking hours on Sunday, July 28, 2024, with selected time slots between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All dogs must be kept on leashes while on Garden property including the parking lot. They will not be allowed in the Rose Garden or the Koi Pond areas. This is a transaction-less entry because advanced tickets are required to reserve your specific time slot.  There will be water stations for both visitors and “fur babies.”

The price for admission for this dog walking event is $15/adult, $11/senior, $5/child, and all dogs $5 each. Members are free. For more information or to purchase admission tickets, click here.

Sit & Stay A While: Basic Tips to Socialize Your Pet will take place while at the park the same day between 1:00 p.m. t 2:00 p.m. Does your pup like to make new friends but maybe gets a little too enthusiastic? Or maybe they’re more introverted and couldn’t be less interested in greeting anyone, four or two-legged. No matter on what end of the social spectrum your dog falls, this socialization meet-and-greet is perfect for them! The instructor will lead them through how to say hello on-leash, how to recognize a safe interaction, and give individualized advice to each pet parent on how to best care for their pal! This is a separate program not included in original ticket price, and the ticket prices are $20/Members – $25/Non-Members, and you can make reservations by clicking here.

The Garden is also showing “SOAR” at this time until August 31. Remember that on the third Tuesday of each month, you can enjoy the park for free.

The South Coast Botanic Garden is located at 26300 Crenshaw Boulevard, Palos Verdes Peninsula.  If you have any questions please call (310) 544-1948.
