Terranea Summer Music Series 2017 At Nelson’s
Terranea’s Summer Music Series 2017 at Nelson’s just started and is a great way to unwind and relax after a long week. For resort guests and Palos Verdes homes owners, Nelson’s is the place where you can enjoy California cuisine, micro brews and spectacular sunsets. With a special view of the Point Vicente Lighthouse and Catalina Island, this unique restaurant is one of the most scenic locations in Palos Verdes. They feature a local live band every Saturday night from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. through Labor Day weekend.
The groups that will be playing their delightful music are:
Wise 100 Door – Fijian-born “One-Man Music-Machine” Wise Katubadrau, aka Wise, has quickly garnered a solid fan base within today’s independent music scene. His signature “mash-up” mega-song rolls from one hit to the next, pairing the most unlikely of songs together in perfect unison.
Surf’s Up is one of the first true Beach Boys tribute bands in the world. They have been perfecting & recreating the Beach Boys sound for 25 years (literally since they were kids).
The John Brown Band is one of two bands voted “Best in The South Bay 2009” by the Easy Reader annual “Best Of” publication. The band has been around the South Bay playing classic to country songs for years.
Back Tracks has performed their classic rock music here in the area for years.
Scott Whyte spends hours in a recording studio, not only for recording music that he is known for with regular gigs in the beach cities, but bringing to life characters created for the animated or video game world.
