Palos Verdes Library District's September 2024 Activities Include: Magical Music Storytime, Write on Time, Movies at the Library and a Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

During September 2024, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy offers Guided Walks on Palos Verdes Trails, Nature Club for Kids, Native Plant Sales, Storytime Trails, Outdoor Restoration Activities and Volunteer Trainings & Activities.

Los Serenos de Point Vicente will be hosting Coastal Cleanup Day in Torrance at Rat Beach on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

Peninsula Seniors Bohannon Lecture Series September 2024 will be held on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Scriba Family Center, Rolling Hills Estates, and includes "Palos Verdes Goes Hollywood," "Identifying Valuable Coins and Other Treasures," "Native Plants in Your Zip Code" and "Revisiting Paddy Hirsch." Coffee and Cars will be held September 7th from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Peninsula Center Shopping Center rooftop deck.

The City of Rolling Hills Estates will celebrate 67 years of incorporation at the Empty Saddle Club on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m., with pony rides, face painting, picnic games, magic shows and food booths.

The Palos Verdes Art Center presents its 4th annual South Bay Orchid Society's Fall Orchid Show and Sale on Saturday, September 7, & Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

Palos Verdes Estates Annual Bulky Trash and E-Waste pick up is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024. Also included is information for Rancho Palos Verdes & Rolling Hills Estates.

The 66th Portuguese Bend National Horse Show at Ernie Howlett Park Friday, Sept 6, thru Sunday, Sept 8, 2024, w/horse competitions, old fashioned hometown fair, petting zoo, games & moon bounces.

Palos Verdes enjoys this summer's last "Movies In The Park" at the Ken Dyda Civic Center on Saturday, August 10, 2024, with the showing of "KUNG FU PANDA" with fun children's events beginning at 7:00 p.m.
