Palos Verdes Concours D’Elegance 2017 has added something special this year as it has moved to the Louis Zamperini Field (Robinson Helicopter).  The event will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Torrance Airport where you will be able to view vintage aircraft at the historic Zamperini Field.  The Concours is an event for all ages, and children are welcome.  The Concours D’Elegance is different from a car show; it brings together vintage autos that adhere to the automobile’s original design and build, that are judged on both their adherence to the original state of their manufacture and the quality level of their fit and finish.  Beauty and elegance are rewarded.  Add to this the inclusion of some incredible vintage aircraft, and we’ve got a day of fascination in store for you.  This year’s special auto outlook is the Packard and Porsche.  And the Western Museum of Flight will be included with ticket price!  This years Masters of Ceremonies will be Ed Justice Jr & Dave Kunz.  Ed Justice, Jr. was born into the automotive world.  His family’s history in the world of auto racing runs as deep and rich as the sport itself.  Dave Kunz is a 25-year-plus employee of ABC7 and became the Eyewitness News Automotive Specialist in 2001.

There will be food for purchase during the day from a variety of the finest gourmet food trucks in the area.  The PV Concours adult refreshments tents will have craft beer and wine for purchase.

Pre-paid tickets prices are $40, ($50 the day of the event) and children under 13 are free. Parking for the event is $10.00 (cash) paid at the gate.  There is also a VIP package which includes parking, elegant tent seating, Mediterranean style luncheon catered by the renowned Bites & Bashes, premium wine, and craft beer (located adjacent to the Awards Ceremony) at the cost of $150/ticket.  For more information and reservations, go to www.pvconcours.org.  Proceeds from this event benefit the Palos Verdes Art Center, and Palos Verdes Rotary Foundation Charities which includes Harbor Area Boys & Girls Clubs.
