Saturday morning, September 18, we will see over 100 antique and classic cars driving around the Palos Verdes Peninsula as part of the Palos Verdes Concours Tour d’Epicure Road Rallye. This year’s theme is “The Pirates of PV” and begins at Trump National Golf Club and includes a treasure hunt during the drive through the Palos Verdes Peninsula ending at the Edelbrock Museum in Torrance for the Grand Marshal Oktoberfest Dinner honoring Grand Marshal Andy Granatelli. The Road Rallye and Oktoberfest tickets are sold out at this time.
On Sunday, September 19, the Concours d’Elegance will begin at 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes. This year’s car show features a German theme with Mercedes Benz as the featured marque car. There are 24 different class trophies to be awarded in categories such as Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, Borgward, Volkswagen,German race cars and motorcycles.
