Palos Verdes Stables, in Palos Verde Estates, were built in the early 1920’s before Palos Verdes Estates became a city. There was a time when children could ride bareback from the stables down to Malaga Cove Plaza to visit Moore’s Market, and could even ride down to Torrance Beach. Nowadays riding is limited to several different trails and there are three arenas where riders can practice their skills.
Palos Verdes Stables currently has a waiting list for boarding, but Palos Verdes residents are given priority when the stalls become available.
