Now that winter is approaching doesn’t it seem like it’s time for a little ice skating? Even though our weather has been warm outside, you can get into the winter holiday spirit by trying your skills on the ice. Here on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, we are lucky to have our own Rancho Palos Verdes Ice Chalet which is open 365 days a year. It’s fun to put on your mittens, wear your warm jacket and get ready to have a good time. Public skating sessions are every day of the week. In addition to open skating, you can get a team together for a little broom ball, or birthday parties and other group events.
Pricing is $7 admission for ages 6 and up and skate rental is $3. Admission for those 5 and under is $5 (skate rental included). Groups of 8 and over can call the rink for more information and to reserve time. The rink is located in the Promenade at 550 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates 90274.
