365 Things To Do In Palos Verdes – New Malaga Cove Nature Walk

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy has announced a new addition to their program.  This is the first time they have added the Malaga Cove Nature Walk.  For almost twenty years the PVPLC has opened these walks to thousands of residents.  Most walks are free, and are led by volunteer naturalists, historians and geologists who have abundant information about the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

On Saturday, January 8th,  the new Malaga Cove Nature Walk will take place between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.  You will be taking the trail from the bluff  below Malaga Cove that leads to the wide, sandy beach.  Along the way you will view spectacular landscape and outrageous views.  This is considered to be a moderate walk, but of course good walking shoes are a must.

Directions:  Take Palos Verdes Drive West to the intersection of Malaga Cove Plaza.  Turn at the stop sign toward the ocean onto Via Almar, then again a right on Via Arroyo.  At Paseo del Mar, turn right into the parking lot and park.  There is no fee for this walk.
