If you are looking for a place to hike this weekend, or take your horse out for a ride, visit Martingale Trailhead Park. Considered one of Rancho Palos Verdes’“passive parks”, this trailhead provides access to a trail system serving Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills and Rolling Hills Estates. The trail has seen some recent improvements including landscaping, a tri-level drinking fountain (which serves not only humans but horses), a mounting block and also a seating rock.
Park hours are from dawn till dusk. The park is located at 22 Martingale Drive, Rancho Palos Verdes 90275.
