The Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club located in Palos Verdes Estates will be offering its annual youth swim programs for City residents beginning in March. This is one of the only opportunities that Palos Verdes homes owners, who are non-members of the Palos Verdes Beach and Athletic Club, will have to sign up for the 2012 Junior Lifeguard and Dolphin Camp Programs. You can start signing up beginning February 27, 2012, by going in person to PVBAC and reserving any open slots. There is limited spacing for these programs and they do not accept call in reservations.
This is an excellent opportunity for kids to get a jump on their Junior Lifeguard Conditioning (ages 9-17), at a cost of $144 per person for the 8 week program. The Dolphin Camp Training for ages 7 to 10 (student must be able to swim 50 yards freestyle without stopping) is also available at the same price of $144 per person for 8 weeks.
