Summer fun on the Palos Verdes Peninsula is not just for Palos Verdes homes owners, but is open to all. PVE-CARES will be sponsoring “Chaussee’s Big Band” on Thursday, June 21, 2012, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lunada Bay Park for all to enjoy. Chaussee’s Big Band will be performing music from the 40’s and 50″s and is sure to get everyone in the mood for our upcoming summer nights. So grab a blanket or a low back lawn chair, some snacks and get ready to enjoy the music!
PVE-CARES is a program which is created by the Palos Verdes Police Department to assist in “Caring for Those Who Cared for Us.” It is designed for Palos Verdes residents 65 and older and not only offers them fun activities such as the concert, but offers them different lectures and health fairs to help them keep informed of the latest information in the health care industry.
Lunada Bay Park is located at the corner of Palos Verdes Drive West and Via Carrillo in Palos Verdes Estates.
