Palos Verdes Peninsula Music Fair – Historic Roots

On Sunday, October 7, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Palos Verdes homes owners can enjoy the Peninsula Music Fair.  It will showcase music of many genres from classical to jazz, representing the diverse Southern California culture.  This year the event will be held at Chadwick School, 26800 Academy Drive, Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Principal, Horn William Lane, a member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic since 1973, has also performed frequently at Hollywood Bowl and the Music Center.  Also performing will be Koshin Taiko Drums, the Los Angeles Cello Quartet featuring Ruslan Biryukov, Garik Terzian, Hope Easton, and Jung Sung Jun, soprano Jeannie Cobb and many others.  Our local favorite Dr. Bobby Rodriguez, will deliver the finale of the performance.  Appetizers, wine and other beverages will be served during intermission and the final performance.

Parking is at Peninsula High School at Silver Spur Road and Hawthorne Blvd, Rolling Hills Estates. A shuttle will be delivering you to and from the event.

The cost per ticket is $50 for adults, and $10 for children under 18. For more information or to purchase tickets go to http://pclaphil.org.  Tickets are also available for purchase at AMUSE Music Center, 43C Peninsula Center in Palos Verdes.  Ticket revenues will be used to support the Los Angeles Philharmonic and to fund music programs in the schools.
