On Sunday, October 14, 2012, from 11:00-3:00 p.m., the White Point Home Tour & Celebration Fundraiser will begin at the preserve. Palos Verdes homes owners can either drive themselves on this self guided tour or enjoy the optional courtesy buses starting at White Point Nature Preserve. Following the tour there will be a reception and silent auction from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the White Point Nature Preserve , located at 1600 Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro. This is an excellent opportunity to visit seven featured homes that all share an attribute – a fabulous view of the ocean.
Guests will check in beginning at 11 a.m. at White Point Nature Preserve. They may pick up a map of the homes and drive themselves, or take one of the courtesy buses. The reception will take place after the tour, where guests can relax with wine and great food. There will be live music and more than 50 silent auction items. All proceeds from the event benefit White Point Nature Preserve site improvements and habitat restoration by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy.
