Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy’s Guided Nature Walk Friendship Park

The Deane Dana Friendship Community Regional Park is a 123 acre park located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and is one of the parks enjoyed by owners of Palos Verdes homes.  The park overlooks San Pedro and has panoramic views of Catalina Island, the harbors of Long Beach and Los Angeles, and also the San Bernardino Mountain ranges.

The Palos Verdes Land Conservancy is offering a guided nature walk on Saturday, November 10, 2012, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.  This will be a moderate walk and you will be able to see the habitat restored by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy for the blue butterfly.  You will also enjoy the outstanding views from this location.  You will need to drive up to the parking lot entrance which is located at the corner of Western and 9th Street where you will find free and open parking (1850 W. 9th Street, San Pedro).
