On June 8, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be sponsoring a hike along the Three Sisters Reserve. This area has been preserved since 2001 and the 21 acre habitat were reconstructed four years ago to help attract birds once again. As we have experienced many different environmental changes to the land, (fire, weather, etc.) it has taken several years of hard work to get this green life to appear again at the Reserve. Palos Verdes homes owners and other volunteers made these changes possible, and you can view the restored habitat during this strenuous hike.
To access parking, take Highridge Road south across Crest Road and turn right at Ocean Terrace Drive, then continue to the end of the street and park. There you will meet the volunteers. For more information call (310) 541-7613, or go to www.pvplc.org.
