The Norris Center for the Performing Arts has a special guest this year with Hollywood Legend Debbie Reynolds opening the 2013-2014 season. This great event will also be celebrating the 30th birthday of the center on September 6, 2013, with “An Evening with Debbie Reynolds.” Palos Verdes homes owners are in for a special treat with this multi-talented actress, singer and dancer who has been in more than 80 films in her long career.
Debbie Reynolds was known as “America’s Sweetheart” while starring during the Golden Age of Hollywood. From shows like “Singing in the Rain” to “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” she has had wonderful careers both in film and Broadway as a stage actress and singer. Now, she even has a new autobiography, “Unsinkable: A Memoir,” which was released in April of this year.
Tickets for this amazing performance are $100. There is a post show reception at an additional cost for donors of $1000 or more in the last year.
