What could be better for the local beach residents of Hollywood Riviera than being able to take advantage of a shuttle back and forth from Terranea Resort? Recently this became a reality with the first shuttle connections taking place. While guests at the hotel are able to have an outing and visit the unique shops and restaurants in Riviera Village, local Hollywood Riviera residents have also learned that they can benefit from this great exchange. Many beach residents have found that instead of worrying about the parking accommodations (which can sometimes be a little restrictive due to large parties or events), they can now jump on the shuttle to visit beautiful Terranea Resort with its breathtaking views and enjoy one of their fabulous restaurants.
The shuttle leaves Terranea Resort at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.. The return trips from Hollywood Riviera are 10:30 a.m., 2:30, 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. There is very little signage in Riviera Village to indicate where the shuttle stop is located except for a hard-to-see red curb with the words “shuttle stop” painted on it which is located at the intersection of Catalina Avenue and Vista del Mar. The Terrenea stop is in front of the lobby with the other courtesy shuttles. The executive director of the Riviera Village Business Improvement District, Ellen Engelke, feels that this new shuttle will allow Terranea visitors to come and enjoy the uniqueness of the Village.
