The South Coast Botanic Gardens will be presenting their holiday traditions beginning Saturday, December 7, 2013; their foundation will be having a Holiday Boutique from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This will be a fun event with lots of holiday merchants and other treats. There will be a raffle to win fabulous prizes, and many other activities including a meeting of the Kids Club, Gingerbread House Workshops, and a special visit and photo opportunities with Santa. On Sunday, December 8, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., a Holiday Concert to Celebrate Fall 2013 will be held at the Frances Young Hall located at the South Coast Botanical Garden. Here you can celebrate the season with the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band including Holiday music featuring the Amuse Singers, who are under the direction of Deborah Wicks LaPuma. There will also be a special narration of “The Night Before Christmas” which will get you into the holidays spirit. They will be serving hot cocoa, gingerbread and cookies. The cost is included with paid garden admission.
