Palos Verdes Harvest Festival and Oktoberfest Coming Soon!
The Palos Verdes Harvest Festival will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lunada Bay Plaza and Park. This family fun event is sponsored by the Lunada Bay Homeowners Association and has been incorporated into the City’s 75th Anniversary year of celebrations. This is a great time for Palos Verdes homes owners to enjoy an afternoon outing with their family and even their pooch. This year the event will feature Pumpkin Races limited to the first 75 participants (race kits $15 each). There also will be a Halloween costume Dog Parade, face painting, hair dying, tattoo parlor, a strolling magic act, comedy and magic club performers, plus balloon animals for kids and an art exhibit by members of the Third Dimension from the Palos Verdes Art Center.
At 4:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m., the day will culminate with an Oktoberfest complete with a German Oompah Band, German sausages and German craft brews. One of the days highlights will be a birthday celebration of PVE’s 75th Anniversary complete with cake and song. Remember to bring your own chairs, blankets, coolers and picnic goodies. The beer and sausages will be available for purchase after 4:00 p.m.
