Local Area Holiday Fun To Enjoy This Weekend!
During this holiday season, there are still many fun activities to be enjoyed by Palos Verdes homes owners. On Saturday, December 13, 2014, our local 23rd annual Holiday Boat Parade will take place in Redondo Beach at King Harbor. Paddle craft will be kicking off the parade at 4:30 p.m. with their decorated and lighted boards/costumes and they will be followed at 5:30 p.m. by power and sail boards which will be all decked out. The parade will be led by the large boat, The Disappearance, piloted by Ronnie Meistrell and Grand Marshall Fritz Coleman from NBC channel 4. On Sunday, December 14, 2014, at 4:30 p.m., St Peters by the Sea will be hosting The Three Wisemen. You can listen to a heartwarming and hilarious Christmas trio singing traditional and original songs and showing off their Christmas comedy. Bring family, friends and neighbors to this free community event. There is plenty of parking available and there will be complimentary cookies, cocoa and peppermint sticks after the concert. Also on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at 5:30 & 7:30 p.m., the Neighborhood Church will be presenting its 61st Annual Christmas Pageant. You will enjoy a prelude to the pageant in the elegant sanctuary presented by the Covenant Handbell Choir and the Neighborhood Brass Rings, followed by the tale of the Magic of the First Christmas and singing of Christmas carols. The live scenes created by local residents and live animals helps to make the evening more spectacular. The Neighborhood Church is located at 415 Paseo del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates.
