PVE-CARES Sponsors Palos Verdes Concert in the Park
Summer is here and it’s time for Palos Verdes home owners to get out and enjoy the warm weather. Our local PVE-CARES will be sponsoring “Chaussee’s Big Band” on Thursday, July 23, 2015, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lunada Bay Park. Chaussee’s Big Band will be performing music from the 40’s and 50’s and it will be fun for all ages. Grab a blanket or a low back lawn chair, some snacks and get ready to enjoy the music!
PVE-CARES (Palos Verdes Estates – Care, Assistance, Resources, Education and Socials) is a program created by the Palos Verdes Police Department to assist in “Caring for Those Who Cared for Us.” It is designed for Palos Verdes residents 65 and older and is celebrating 10 years of service. It not only offers them fun activities such as the concert, but offers different lectures and health fairs to keep seniors informed of the latest information in the health care industry. Lunada Bay Park is located at the corner of Palos Verdes Drive West and Via Carrillo in Palos Verdes Estates.
