Enjoy Lunch At Our Local Stripe Cafe!

The Stripe Cafe which initially opened to offer the Palos Verdes Art Center visitors a place to grab a bite to eat, has now become a luncheon stop for local residents because of its delicious food.  The restaurant manager has used the works of art in the galleries to inspire his food creations.  Originally open just for lunch, the Cafe now offers pop up dinners a few nights every month.

The Cafe decor is the creation of the art center director Joe Baker and New York City based designer Doug Meyer, who designed the entire layout including the 42 foot drip wall painting that took two weeks to complete.  People are coming to the Cafe to dine and then discovering the exhibitions and the many classes that Art Center offers.  Palos Verdes Art Center’s 3 galleries are open to the public and feature both local and major artists.  The Cafe offers fresh local ingredients and vegetarian alternatives at every meal.

The Stripe Cafe is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  For more information call 310-541-2479, or go to www.cafestripe.com to see the menu.

The Palos Verdes Art Center is located at 5504 West Crestridge Road, Rancho Palos Verdes.
