Palos Verdes Norris Theatre Shows!
Palos Verdes homes owners have several opportunities to see great revues of legendary musicians in the next couple of months. This weekend there are still 3 shows under the Presents Series which are worth a night out of fun.
The Unofficial Blue Brothers Revue will be held on Friday, March 11, and Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. This program will show all the wild comedy, music and mayhem that the duo created in their time. They will be doing a live concert of songs such as “Soul Man”, “Rubber Biscuit” & “Sweet Home Chicago.” This show capture sthe spirit and lunacy of the Blue Brothers while paying homage to Chicago’s rich history of blues, soul and gospel music.
ABBA-Fab will be a tribute to ABBA and will be presented on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. This show will take you back in time with the celebrated Swedish pop group with super infectious classic hits performed live in electrifying fashion with costume and staging. You will hear big hits like “Dancing Queen,” “SOS,” “Mamma Mia” and more.
The Stranger, A Billy Joel Tribute, will be presented on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. Billy Joel was a 6 time Grammy winner, full of high energy as a pianist and vocalist. Mike Santao will be playing Billy Joel’s classic sounds such as “The Longest Time,” “She’s Always a Woman,” “Just The Way You Are,” “Tell Her About It” and “Piano Man.”
The Chamber Orchestra will be performing with Anna Polonsky, a Mozart recording artist, on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at 8:00 p.m., and Narek Hakhnazaryan, International Tchaikovsky Composing Gold Medalist, on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 8:00 p.m.
